Private Aviation Terminals in Austin Texas: A Complete FBO Guide

An FBO — fixed-base operator — is the private terminal that handles your private jet experience on the ground. Every Austin private jet trip starts and ends at one. Here is the complete picture of which FBOs serve the Austin market in 2026 and how to choose between them.

FBOs at Austin-Bergstrom International (AUS)

Signature Flight Support

The largest FBO at AUS. Multi-acre ramp, modern lounge with workstations and a barista bar, dedicated conference room rentals, full concierge. 24/7 operations, Jet A and 100LL fuel, Customs coordination, pet relief area, premium catering vendor relationships.

Atlantic Aviation

The second AUS FBO. Smaller footprint than Signature but consistently strong service reputation. 24/7 operations, full fueling, Customs coordination, comfortable lounge with quiet seating, fast ground turns.

FBO at Austin Executive Airport (EDC)

Henriksen Jet Center

EDC's single FBO. Purpose-built modern facility opened with the airport. Spacious lounge, conference rooms, full crew amenities, on-site car rental, secure inside-gate parking. 24/7 operations. Notably faster ground turns than either AUS FBO because there is no commercial traffic to share runway access with.

FBOs at San Antonio International (SAT) — Austin Overflow Option

Million Air San Antonio

Premium FBO at SAT often used as an Austin alternate during weather diversions or when South Austin travelers find SAT a shorter drive. Full service, 24/7.

Signature Flight Support San Antonio

The second SAT option, with the consistency and amenities of the Signature network nationwide.

Choosing Between Them

  • If you live or work in North Austin: Henriksen at EDC.
  • If you need international Customs on field: Signature or Atlantic at AUS.
  • If your aircraft is heavy or ultra-long-range: AUS (longer runway and better support for heavy iron).
  • If your aircraft is based at a specific FBO: let the basing decide — saves a positioning leg.
  • If South Austin/San Marcos and AUS is weathered: SAT.

What to Expect at Any FBO

Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled departure. Park inside the secured gate (most FBOs do not charge for short-term parking). Walk into the lounge. A coordinator will check ID, take your bags directly to the aircraft, and walk you to the ramp when the crew is ready. There is no security screening on domestic Part 135 charter. Total time from car to seat is typically 5–10 minutes.
